We focus on character, academic & social-emotional learning so our students can progress throughout their schooling as well-rounded, unique individuals. ACADEMICS

In the ‘20-21 school year, KIPP Columbus began the process to revamp its curriculum, assessment and professional development to ensure strong alignment with the Science of Reading and full implementation began in ’21-22. Since then, we have seen ~30% increase in reading literacy results. 100% of our teachers have been trained in the science of reading. These efforts led to ~80% of kindergarten and first grade students ending the school year at or above grade level.
